I wish I could come down to babysit, but I have this fucking job (see I can do it, too). If Hilary's dress was backwards and she turned it around, then there'd really be a lot to talk about. Congratulations on finishing the application. Did you reward yourself with a brownie, as I suggested or are you still resisting sugar? Bon soir...I just came back from Montreal. xxx

Good news - we're going home Bad news - I won't have the places available to continue buying shoes for Ping. You probably won't miss it as much as I do. I'd like to babysit also but I'm still a little far away. Maybe in a few weeks. love, P

You know Jamie Foxx is adopted? His birthmom was adopted, and then she died when he was a baby, so his grandparents (who adopted his birthmom) adopted him as a baby, too.

I love his stories about his grandma whooping his ass and setting him right. I would imagine though that he got a few pieces of hate mail from people who don't understand that whoppings are part of some previous generations' parenting style. My brother and I were unforgettably whooped by our grandma, too. (That said, we won't be whopping our daughter.)

Great news about your dad! Bad news about Ping's footwear wardrobe. I'll take orders if you want more shoes from China. Excellent news about Bank Street. I looked into it ten years ago but couldn't make the necessary sacrifices to go back to school. And if you're stuck for a babysitter again, just hop on the B65 Bus which stops in front of my door. Ping can come and play office with me.
